OPA 'saveONenergy' High Performance Construction Program (HPNC)The HPNC program supports up to 100% of the cost of modelling a building (up to $10,000) for the building owner. Approved projects are eligible for incentives in one of two program approaches: Prescriptive
Incentives are based on standard efficiency measures calculated using provided worksheets for Lighting, Motors, Unitary A/C, Agribusiness, and Alternative measures for Space Cooling and Multi-Residential In-Suite Appliances. Building owners will receive up to $250 for every kilowatt saved and up to $60 per appliance. Custom
Incentives are based on assumed energy and demand savings from modelling software results, used to determine the best energy-efficiency measures to incorporate in a new building or major renovation. Building owners will incentive rates of $250 - $400 per kW based on verified performance above building code. Enbridge Design Assistance Program (DAP)$3,000 per building for design activities aimed at improving a building's energy and environmental performance – whether it is a new building, an addition to an existing building or a major renovation. Implementation Support$2,000 incentive is intended to offset the administrative cost of assessing and reporting the energy efficient design alternatives included in the new building. Only paid when the New Building Construction Program (NBCP) report is completed and accepted by Enbridge. New Building Construction Program (NBCP)The program provides an incentive for energy savings that will result from adding efficiency measures to a reference design building. The natural gas savings identified are based on the results of an energy simulation. Enbridge will pay $0.10/m3 of projected annual natural gas savings to a maximum of $30,000 per building. For larger projects, additional incentives may apply. New Construction Program (NCP)If a building simulation has not been completed for a new building, incentives are still available for adding energy efficient natural gas equipment to a new building design. Enbridge will pay $0.10/m3 of projected annual natural gas savings to a maximum of $30,000 per building. For larger projects, additional incentives may apply |
