Anureet Kaur, BBA, MSc.
Anureet has a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Science in Sustainability Management from University of Toronto.

Anureet is the Business Operations Analyst at IESC. At IESC, she creates quarterly reports for core stakeholders in order to provide valuable insights into the company's financial metrics and other Key Performance Indicators. In addition, she also conducts marketing outreach activities, team building programs and performs internal peer reviews for GHG Verification. She has also obtained a GHG Validation and Verification ISO14064-3 Certification from University of Toronto.

Calvin D’Souza, B.Eng.
Calvin has a Bachelor of Sustainable and Renewable Energy Engineering from Carleton University (2013) and an AUTOCAD certificate from the Metro College of Technology (2015).

Calvin is an engineering assistant at IESC. His professional career at IESC over the last 2 years has been spent in technical capacity for various engineering design projects. His main roles have included carrying out design and technical work, creating and updating engineering drawins, preparing tender documents, supervising and reporting on work that is carried out at project sites.

Falon Attai, M.Sc, EP, LEED CA, CSBA
Falon has considerable knowledge and experience regarding renewable energy technology and sustainability practices. She holds a Master’s degree in Sustainability (Environmental Consultancy and Project Management) from the University of Leeds -UK as well as a Bachelor of Environmental Science from University of the West Indies in addition to multiple professional designations.

Falon is the Project Manager at IESC and is involved in the implementation of various energy efficiency and renewable energy projects. Her professional career spanning over the last 8 years has been spent in key technical roles in the building science, renewable energy and sustainability fields. The past 5 years have included specializing in renewable energy assessments and system design, building science, energy efficiency, energy modelling, health and safety strategies and climate change policies. At IESC, Falon performs renewable energy analysis with the use of software such as RETScreen, Helioscope and PVSyst.

Kevin Tse, B.Sc., M.E.S.
Kevin has a Bachelor of Science in Integrated Biology from the University of Toronto (2008) and a Master of Environment and Sustainability from the University of Western Ontario (2010).

Kevin is a Greenhouse Gas Analyst at IESC specializing in GHG Emissions Verification. With over 5 years of experience in GHG assessments, verifications and reporting under provincial frameworks across Canada (Ontario, Alberta, Quebec). Kevin has completed numerous GHG verifications to support clients across a broad range of sectors including manufacturing, mining, oil and gas, energy production, and institutions in Ontario, Alberta and Quebec.

Livio Nichilo, P.Eng, CEM, LEED AP

Livio has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Queen's University (2003) and a Master of Engineering with a collaborative in Environmental Studies (School of Environment) from the University of Toronto (2013). He was granted a Professional Engineer licence in the province of Ontario in 2007 and in the province of Alberta in 2016.

Livio is the CEO and Engineering Manger of IESC. In addition to his duties as CEO, he is very active in IESC's marquee engineering projects and provides technical knowledge on GHG (greenhouse gas) emission projects for both voluntary and regulated markets. He stays current on all North American GHG programs and legislation and is the lead verifier on the majority of IESC GHG verifications. His work experience has provided a very strong international influence on the way he approaches problems and solutions to them.

Maelys Fillon, MASc

Maelys holds a Master of Science in Energy and Environmental Engineering from the National Institute of Applied Sciences (INSA) in Lyon, France. She completed her Master’s Thesis at the Technical University of Denmark, focusing on the impact ventilation has on perceptions of building comfort by building occupants. Maelys is now working towards her Professional Engineer cerification in Canada.

Maelys is the Project Manager at IESC. She also manages the implementation of energy efficiency improvements. Her professional career started in renewable energy before her focus moved towards energy efficiency. Since starting with IESC, Maleys has completed more than 100 energy audits in various buildings, including multi-residential, social housing, long-term facilities, schools, offices and government buildings. As the lead auditor, Maelys oversees and contributes to the entire process, from onsite coordination to energy conservation measures generation.

Matthew Hudson, M.BSc.

Matthew recently graduated from Ryerson University with a Master of Building Science degree. He has also completed his Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from McGill University. His educational background in both engineering and building science bring a key set of technical and practical skills to his role. Matthew looks forward to building a career that will contribute to a more sustainable built environment, by creating high performing, efficient and comfortable buildings in both new and existing construction.

At IESC, Matthew has assisted with several energy audits in locations across Ontario. Matthew is currently working towards his designation as a Professional Engineer and is registered as an Engineer in Training (EIT)  with Professional Engineers of Ontario.

Melissa Furukawa, M.B.Sc., M.A.Sc.
Melissa completed her Master of Building Science degree at Ryerson University where she took courses in Building Science Theory, Energy Efficiency Building Services and Renewable Energy Systems, Building Envelope Systems, Ecological and Resource Efficient Design. Her Major Research project investigated the microclimate benefits and energy savings associated with green roof retrofits.

Following the completion of her Master of Building Science degree, Melissa worked at a climate engineering firm called Transolar in New York. During her time there, she has gained extensive experience in energy modeling, daylight analysis, climate analysis as well as various other engineering analyses. Melissa is a Building Scientist and Lead Energy Modeler at IESC. She has experience in energy modeling using programs such as eQuest, Design Builder (Energy Plus), TRNSYS, etc.
